ver a decade ago I didn't
realize that I was creating a best selling book when I started writing
Computers — The Plain English

supposed to be to help people with their computer needs, right?
Except that it didn't exactly work that way. Many
companies selling computer books, software, and hardware seemed more
interested in selling the maximum number of products possible than in the
quality of the product. Which might explain why people from around the
World have continued to contact me throughout the years to thank me for
writing Computers — The Plain English Guide, tell me that they
think it is better than the Dummies books, and to ask when I will publish
a new edition (the answer is, very soon!).
